AION2 Kina (Bound): official introduction date and build boundary
The official English release uses the term Kina (Bound), while the Korean release calls it 각인 키나. It is a currency change added to the live service in March 2026, not proof that every old guide, the global build, or every later economy rule works the same way.
Checked against NC's official March 25, 2026 update announcement. Player prices, auction screenshots, and undated yield tests are not used to manufacture economy conclusions.

NC explicitly lists Kina (Bound) among the March 25 update additions. The release says it was added in response to player feedback and names quests and Duty rewards, NPC shops, Sealed Dungeons, and Strongholds as source categories for Kina (Bound).
The same release discusses regular Kina separately and names player trading, monster hunting, and Odyle Energy Cubes as its source categories. That proves the announcement distinguishes the two currencies; it does not establish a fixed exchange relationship, every trading restriction, or a current price.
A Korea/Taiwan live-build checkpoint
Kina (Bound) was introduced after the Korea/Taiwan service had launched, in the March 2026 live update. The global release has a separate PC platform and release path. Until a global official notice includes the system, do not assume that the global launch build uses the same sources or restrictions on day one.
Later updates can also change quests, shops, content rewards, and currency uses. This page preserves March 25, 2026 as a traceable checkpoint instead of turning that announcement into a permanent economy rule.
